Our Story
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Yasodara Girls' Orphanage emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support vulnerable children, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1964, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
Yasodara Girls' Orphanage is a registered Institution. The Society known as "Seemasahitha Bauddha Kantha Samithiya" Galle ( Buddhist Ladies Society Galle) situated at No,19 Jayawardene Temple Lane ,Dangedara ,Galle Sri Lanka has been registered as a specially authorized Society under Section 3(b)Societies Ordinance( Chapter 123). in 31st of July 1995. Reg No : Bodu -140. Further this institution runs under the supervision and guidance of the Department of Probation and Child Care Services Office and a board of committee who works voluntarily.

Buddhist Ladies' Society Volunteer members runs the organization under the rules and regulations of Southern Provincial Department of Social Welfare,Probation & Childcare Services.
